Periodically, I go through the house and whatever I haven’t worn or used since last “go through”, goes away. (Of course, that doesn’t include things that aren’t meant to be used often, like winter clothes here in Florida.) Every time I do this, though, the last place I get to is my home office. By that time I’m tired of going through things so I end up filing away paperwork, and storing anything else away in the closet bookshelves.
The last couple of weeks I had been looking for something (not too strenuous) to do around the house to break the monotony of, well, doing nothing, so I decided to finally clean out the office. I got rid of one of the desks, cleaned out the other, and tackled the closet that houses the two bookshelves o’plenty.
I won’t get into details about the mountains of stuff I ended up throwing away (or boxing up to give away). Instead, I’ll share with you a picture of something I found while cleaning. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This one’s gonna tell you the story of just how long it’s been since I cleaned out my office.
Just in case you’re wondering if your eyes are deceiving you (or if you’re too young to know what that is)… Yes, that is a 5 1/4 inch floppy disk. LOL!
