50 Stress Relievers

Posted by – November 5, 2009

The economy’s in turmoil, the unemployment rate is high, and the cost of living went ridiculous last year making it difficult to buy even the barest essentials.  It’s easy to see why folks become so stressed out.  The problem is that too much stress can really wear you down and cause problems with your health.  Health problems can lead to depression and/or doctor bills, which only add to your stress.  It’s a vicious cycle!

My employer gave the following list of stress relievers to me (and co-workers) in an attempt to help us deal with the everyday stress of our jobs.  Some of these are actually stress “makers” for me (LOL!) but I hope this list can be of some help to you or someone you know…

A second list we received for stress management comes from military.com and you can check that out here.  As for the list above, my personal favorite these days is number 40 but I do try most of these regularly.  What about you?  Do you have anything to add to this list?  What do you do to relieve stress?
